Speakers

Michael Greeley: Michael is a General Partner at Flare Capital Partners. Michael currently serves as chairman of the Entrepreneurship Committee of the Massachusetts Information Collaborative, on the Investment Committee for the Partners Innovation Fund and Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, on the Industry Advisory Board of the Cleveland Clinic and Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as serving on several other boards including the New England Investors’ Committee of Capital Innovation. He was the former chairman of the New England Venture Capital Association and on the Executive Committee of the board of the National Venture Capital Association. Named by the Boston Globe as the “Go-To” investor for life sciences, healthcare and medical devices and a Mass High Tech All-Star, Michael earned a B.A. with honors in chemistry from Williams College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.


Dane Callow: Dane Callow is a founder of Brooks Hill Partners and is an active member of both Boston Harbor Angels & MassMedical Angels. He speaks at entrepreneurial events at Babson College and Judges/Mentors at PULSE @ MassChallenge. Brooks Hill Partners is a strategy consulting and seed stage venture firm that partners with, and invests in, passionate and driven companies and entrepreneurs. Brooks is focused exclusively on the healthcare and technology industries, and work collaboratively with management teams to provide the strategic and analytical resources needed to organically create value and foster growth. Dane earned a B.A. from Middlebury College in Economics and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Peter Steiger: Peter Steiger, Ph.D., has over 25 years of experience in the application of specialized medical imaging techniques in support of biopharmaceutical product development. At PAREXEL Informatics, he oversees the company’s worldwide medical imaging scientific strategy as VP and Chief Scientific Officer of Medical Imaging. Prior to joining PAREXEL, Dr. Steiger was the CEO of Optasia Medical from 2006 to 2013 and CEO of Synarc from 2000 to 2005. He also spent several years as Chief Scientist for medical imaging device company Hologic, where he led the Medical Data Management division responsible for supporting the use of bone densitometry measurements in clinical studies. As an Assistant Professor at the University of California San Francisco, Dr Stieger was one of the pioneers in the application of imaging endpoints to clinical trials. He has published more than 100 scientific articles and abstracts related to medical imaging techniques.
